Length-of-Cut Transmission

Length of cut is directly influenced by:

• the feeding speed (feed roll speed)
• the number of cutterhead knives

The feeding speed of feed rolls is adjusted at shift rods (A) and (B) of length-of-cut transmission.

The harvesting unit speed is adjusted at shift rod (C).

A-Shift rod for feed roll speed
