Hydraulic Reverser Motor

By means of the reverser motor the harvesting unit and the feed rolls can be turned backwards when operating (e.g. metal detector reacts or wrapping of crop in the feeding system); during reversing operation the cutterhead is separated from the length-of-cut transmission by automatic disengagement of the electromagnetic clutch.

As a second function the hydraulic reverser motor turns cutterhead backward with electromagnetic clutch engaged and shift rods at length-of-cut transmission in neutral position (e.g. when sharpening knives and adjusting stationary knife).

NOTE: Reverser motor operation can be interrupted by means of emergency cut-off switch at multi-function lever.

To disconnect quick couplers at return hose (A) pull locking ring to the rear; at pressure hose (B) pull locking ring to the front.

Cap openings.

Attach hoses to bracket (C).
