Engage main clutch.

NOTE: Within indicator light section I, the STOP and the metal detector indicator lights will glow and the warning signal will be heard.

Switch on metal detector.

Move feed roll/harvesting unit switch to the "Reversing" position.

NOTE: Indicator lights and warning signal will go off.

By reversing, locking pawl magnetic switch (A) is supplied with current and disengages locking pawl in the length-of-cut transmission.

Engage feed rolls and harvesting unit by means of switch (components rotate in forward direction).
