4.50 Meter Pickup Unit

This wide pickup fully utilizes the capacity of the 6850/6950 self-propelled forage harvesters.

The pickup unit can gather two windrows simultaneously and because the harvester must only drive half the way across the field, less strain is put on the ground. Many spare parts are commonly used on the 3 m and the 4.5 m pickup.

A center pivoting system allows the large pickup to follow the ground profile and to optimize the raking performance on undulated and uneven ground. The 4.5 m pickup will leave clean fields in the most heavy of grass crops.
