Rocker Arm Cover and Crankcase Ventilation - Cummins Engine

Loosen the hose clamp at the breather vent tube. Remove the tube support bracket and cap screw. Disassemble the breather. Clean the breather and dry it with compressed air.

Inspect the breather tube, connector hose and the rubber gasket for cracks or other damage. Replace if necessary.

Clean the inside of the crankcase breather tube and dry with compressed air. Replace the vent tube if it is clogged.

Assemble the breather. Install the vent tube, the hose, the hose clamp, the brackets and the cap screw on the engine.
