Operating Straw Chopper

CAUTION: Before switching the straw chopper on or off, always switch off all drives, shut off the engine and wait until all moving parts have come to a stop.

Before switching on, fold deflector sheet (B) in the straw deflector to the chopping position by pulling lever (A) downward.

Place chopper deflector (A) into working position as follows:

2. Push straw chopper deflector (A) until lock (C) can be released at both sides.

3. Slowly lower straw chopper deflector (A) until lock (B) can be engaged into disk recess (D). Rotate lock (B) so that it engages.

IMPORTANT: Make sure the lock (B) is firmly engaged into disk recess (D) as otherwise the straw deflector height adjustment will not be possible.

Before switching off, fold deflector sheet to the windrow position by raising lever (A).

Remove upper screw (A). Loosen lower screw (B) and rotate cover (C) to remove.

- To switch on straw chopper, push flange (A) and engage dog clutch (B).

- To switch off straw chopper, pull flange (A) and disengage dog clutch (B).

Install clutch cover.
