Adjusting Spreading Width

Spreading width can be adjusted by positioning straw deflector (A) to a upper, intermediate or lower position by means of handle (B).

To adjust straw deflector position, proceed as follows:

1. Make sure the lock (C) is firmly engaged into disk recess (D) as otherwise the straw deflector height adjustment will not be possible.

2. Hold the straw deflector assembly by hand then sightly release knob (E).

NOTE: Straw deflector is assisted by gaz struds.

3. To increase the spreading width, lower handle (B) to raise straw deflector(A).

4. To decrease the spreading width raise handle (B) to lower straw deflector (A).

5. Tighten knob (E) to keep desired straw deflector position.

NOTE: A more exact adjustment can be achieved by setting chopper vanes to different positions (see "Adjusting Straw Chopper Vanes" in this section).
