Chaff Spreader Working/Storage Positions

Storage Position

To place the chaff spreader into storage position, proceed as follows:

1. Disconnect the hydraulic hoses (A) and (B) from the chaff spreader motors.

Use the protective caps to prevent dirt from getting into the openings in the chaff spreader.

IMPORTANT: Insert the two ends of the hydraulic hoses together. This makes the chaff spreader inoperative. Secure the hydraulic hoses so that they cannot be damaged during combine operation.
