IMPORTANT: Change oil every 100 hours if fuel contains more than 0.5% sulfur.

Change oil every 250 hours when using all other oils.

Change oil every 375 hours when using John Deere PLUS-50 ® .

IMPORTANT: Do not operate engine with oil level below low mark on dipstick.

9560 combines with 8.1 L engine, 9580, 9640, 9660, 9680:

1. Engine crankcase filter. Remove old filter (A) and coat seal on new filter with oil. Hand tighten then tighten 1/2 turn more.

9540 and 9560 combines with 6.8 L engine:

2. Coat seal rings and threads of the new filter with new engine oil.

3. Clean both sealing surfaces of the filter head ¹ with a clean cloth. Replace dust seal with the new one provided.

IMPORTANT: When installing filter element, HAND TIGHTEN only. A filter wrench may be used for REMOVAL ONLY.

4. Install and tighten new filter element by hand until firmly against dust seal. DO NOT apply an extra 3/4 to 1-1/4 turn after gasket contact as done with standard filters.

5. Start engine and check base of filter for leaks.

6. Shut off engine and check oil level.

On All Combines:

Turn handle (B) to drain.

Pull cap to fill. Check oil at dipstick (C) after filling.
