Electrical Starting Aid
Proceed as described under points 1 to 4, "Starting the Engine". Turn the key clockwise to the ON position. Press the key into the main switch to activate the heating element. Wait for 30 seconds before starting the engine. Never operate starting motor more than 20 seconds at a time. Turn main switch key to "0" position and wait at least one minute before trying again. Do not adjust accelerator. The electronic fuel injection pump is set at a higher slow idle (1050 rpm) until coolant temperature reaches 20°C (68°F). |

Never use Ether starting fluid when starting the engine with an electrical starting aid.
