A 6 kg (13 lb) general purpose fire extinguisher complying with legal regulations must be installed on the left-hand side of the operator's platform.

Make sure that the fire extinguisher is always ready for operation.

Keep the engine clean and free of dust, chaff and straw to prevent the possibility of a fire.
