Activation Buttons

General

NOTE: The buttons (A), (B), (C), or (D) should be used as calibrated ex factory:

  • A - Return to upper position

  • B - Return to lower position (harvesting corn)

  • C - Return to pressure (harvesting grass)

  • D - Row guidance / Selective control valve I activate

In order to be sure the area counter and the liquid injection pump are working correctly (activated by pushing button 2 or 3), is it important to use the default settings.

NOTE: Harvesting grass: When working in return to pressure mode and in order to avoid that the area counter and the liquid injection pump do not switch off, calibrate the return to lower positon as high as possible.

The calibration ex factory is done at the following addresses:

  • A - ARC 104
  • B - ARC 105
  • C - ARC 106
  • D - ARC 107

Operation

The activation buttons can be activated only when:

1. The engine is running.
2. The road safety switch is in field operating mode.

The system is activated by pressing any of the header activation buttons in the multi-function lever. The header control system will then take control and move the header to the preselected positions.

NOTE: All header positions obtained by pressing buttons (A), (B) or (C) may be overcome by pressing switch (E).

NOTE: For detailed calibration information see Section "Calibration Procedures" at the appropriate addresses.

If Button (D) is Selected as Row Guidance Switch

The electronic system monitors the row guidance activate switch and latches the activate state once button (D) has been pressed twice. An indicator light will be turned on whenever the row guidance system is in the activated state.

Button (D) will only be active when the row guidance system is installed.

If Button (D) is Selected as Selective Control Valve I Switch

During harvesting operation it is often necessary to move the deflector shield of the pickup up and down. An automatic shield up / down actuation function is only performed after metal detection.

  • Pressing button (D) once activates the selective control valve I to lift the pickup deflector shield for a 2 seconds fixed amount of time (same like for auto actuation).
  • Pressing button (D) twice (double click), activates the selective control valve I to lower the pickup deflector shield for a 5 seconds fixed amount of time (same like for auto actuation).
