On-Board Diagnostics - Beep Mode

Once the desired device is selected, the control unit identifier and the initial diagnostic address 000 are shown.

Navigate to the system beep mode diagnostic address using the up switch.

Press the enter switch to access this address.

The display will show the beep mode address and a beep will sound to indicate beep mode has been entered.

Operation

When operating in system beep mode a significant change in any of the beep mode inputs will cause an alarm to sound and the display to show the diagnostic address of the input which changed.

Example: Beep mode for road safety switch at address ARC 050

Press the road safety switch to get displayed the corresponding address. The display will show: 002 and 50.

If the address is displayed and a beep sounds, jump to that address by use of the enter switch.

The display will show the diagnostic address.

Press the road safety switch again to check the digital input of this switch.

If the digit for the road safety switch alternates from 0 to I the digital input for this switch is o.k..
