Adjusting Feed Roll Springs

Tighten springs until coils open 1 mm (0.04 in.) max; measure distance (X) at the middle coils of spring.

NOTE: If crop flow is not smooth (slipping) or quality of cut is poor, evenly increase feed roll spring tension.
