Adjusting Deflecting Edges

CAUTION: Before servicing or adjusting the harvester, always disengage all power, shut off engine and wait until all moving parts have stopped.

IMPORTANT: Before adjusting deflecting edge, adjust blower paddles first (see previous instructions).

Adjust flat steel section (B) after loosening flanged nuts (A) until a clearance X = 2 mm (0.08 in.) between paddles (C) and flat steel section has been obtained. Tighten flanged nuts. Check clearance at all blower paddles.

To direct all the material from blower to spout base, a flat steel section is installed at the front of the base over the entire width.

Adjust flat steel section (B) after loosening flanged nuts (A) until a clearance X = 3 ± 0.5 mm (0.12 ± 0.02 in.) between paddles (C) and flat steel section has been obtained. Tighten flanged nuts. Check clearance at all blower paddles.
