Draining Water Separator, John Deere POWERTECH® 8.1 L Engine

When fuel / separator bowl (A) senses water in the fuel system a Diagnostic Trouble Code will be displayed.

If Diagnostic Trouble Code appears (ECU 000097.31 - Water in Fuel Detected) drain fuel / water separator bowl using water drain (B) and reset Diagnostic Trouble Code.
