RDC - Rear Wheel Drive Control Unit Diagnostic Trouble Codes
Control Unit SPN FMI Pri. Indicator Light Description Effect
RDC 158 00 2   Battery Voltage High indicates that the system battery voltage input to the rear wheel drive control unit is above 30 volts. Control Unit shutdown, Control unit functions not available.
RDC 158 01 2   Battery Voltage Low indicates that the system battery voltage input to the rear wheel drive control unit is below 7 volts. Control Unit shutdown, Control unit functions not available.
RDC 300700 00 2 Rear wheel drive Rear Rotation Speed Very High indicates that the rear rotation displacement is greater than 20% of the maximum displacement and the rear rotation speed exceeds 3300 rpm longer than 5 seconds. If this occurs the displacement of the rear displacement motor is set to zero.
If the rear rotation displacement is greater than 20% and the rear rotation speed exceeds 3650 rpm, the displacement of the rear displacement motor is set to zero but only when the rear wheel drive is engaged.		  
RDC 300700 03 1 Rear wheel drive Rear Rotation Speed Over All Limits indicates that the rear rotation speed is greater than 5000 rpm.  
RDC 300700 08   Rear wheel drive Rear Rotation Speed Sensor Low (No Frequency Input) indicates that the front rotation speed is greater than the adjustable threshold "Front Speed Limit" AND the rear rotation speed sensor measures the value zero, only when rear wheel drive is engaged.  
RDC 300700 14 2 Rear wheel drive Loss of One Frequency Input indicates that if the difference between the two frequency inputs is higher than 5%, there is a failure on the sensor.

RDC 300700 16   Rear wheel drive Rear Rotation Speed High indicates that the displacement of the rear displacement motor is greater than 20% of the maximum displacement AND the rear rotation speed is greater than 3300 rpm.  
RDC 300701 09   Rear wheel drive Corner Post Control Unit Not Communicating indicates that the rear wheel drive control unit did not receive the corner post control unit message "Corner Post Status Message" in the last 300 msec.  
RDC 300702 09   Rear wheel drive SPFH Main Control Unit Not Communicating indicates that the rear wheel drive control unit did not receive the SPFH main control unit status message 1 in the last 50 msec.  
RDC 300703 09   Rear wheel drive SPFH Control Unit Message 2 Lost indicates that the rear wheel drive control unit did not receive the SPFH main control unit status message 2 in the last 250 msec.  
RDC 300704 05   Rear wheel drive Current PWM Output Rear Hydrostatic Motor Low indicates that the actual measured electrical current is 15% lower than expected.  
RDC 300704 06   Rear wheel drive Current PWM Output Rear Hydrostatic Motor High indicates that the actual measured electrical current is 15% higher than expected, only when the rear wheel drive is engaged.  
RDC 300705 06   Rear wheel drive CAN Node Is Switched Off Due To Too Many Errors On The Bus indicates that the CAN node is switched off due to too many errors on the bus.  
RDC 300706 13 3 Rear wheel drive Transmission Ratio Not Calibrated indicates that the transmission ratio is not calibrated. The indication of this failure is that the ratio is below 0.1 or above 0.9.

RDC 300707 08 2 Rear wheel drive Front Rotation Speed Sensor Low indicates that the rear speed exceeds the front speed failure limit and the rotation speed input of the front side is still zero. The diagnostic trouble code will be generated if the failure condition exists for more than 10 seconds. Check front speed sensor.
RDC 300708 01 2 Rear wheel drive Pressure Signal Valid but Below Normal Operating Range indicates that the pressure signal falls 0.05 V lower than the calibrated zero pressure voltage. The diagnostic trouble code will be generated if the failure condition exists for more than two seconds. Check pressure sensor or recalibrate the pressure sensor.
RDC 300708 03 2 Rear wheel drive Pressure Signal High indicates that the pressure signal exceeds 4.5 V. The diagnostic trouble code will be generated if the failure condition exists for more than two seconds. Check pressure sensor or recalibrate the pressure sensor.
RDC 300708 04 2 Rear wheel drive Pressure Signal Low indicates that the pressure signal falls lower than 0.1 V. The diagnostic trouble code will be generated if the failure condition exists for more than two seconds. Check pressure sensor or the sensor signal wire for shorts to ground.
RDC 300708 13 2 Rear wheel drive Pressure Signal Not Calibrated indicates that the calibrated value for the zero pressure voltage is lower than 0.5 V. The diagnostic trouble code will be generated if the failure condition exists without any delay. Check the pressure sensor offset calibration.
RDC 300709 09 3 Rear wheel drive Engine Control Unit Message EEC1 Lost indicates that the rear wheel drive control unit did not receive the CAN bus EEC1 message from the engine control unit.
