Control Unit SPN FMI Pri. Indicator Light Description Effect
SIG 158 00 2   Battery Voltage High indicates that the system battery voltage input to the metal detector control unit is above 16 volts. Control Unit shutdown, Control Unit functions not available.
SIG 158 01 2   Battery Voltage Low indicates that the system battery voltage input to the metal detector control unit is below 10.5 volts. Control Unit shutdown, Control Unit functions not available.
SIG 628 12 2   Program Memory Failure indicates that the control unit boot block detects that the application software is not executing (generated by the boot block). Control unit functions not available.
SIG 300500 05 3 Stationary knife Sound Sending Unit A Disconnected indicates that stationary knife adjust is requested or active AND the metal detector control unit has detected that the sound sending unit A connected input is not active. Stationary knife adjust function can be performed with one sound sending unit only.
SIG 300500 14 3 Stationary knife Sound Sending Unit A Failed indicates that stationary knife adjust is requested AND the metal detector control unit detects that the sound sending unit B knock rate is greater than 10 but the sound sending unit A knock level is zero. Stationary knife adjust function can be performed with one sound sending unit only.
SIG 300501 05 3 Stationary knife Sound Sending Unit B Disconnected indicates that stationary knife adjust is requested AND the metal detector control unit detects that the sound sending unit B connected input is not active. Stationary knife adjust function can be performed with one sound sending unit only.
SIG 300501 14 3 Stationary knife Sound Sending Unit B Failed indicates that stationary knife adjust is requested AND the metal detector control unit detects that the sound sending unit A knock rate is greater than 10 but the sound sending unit B knock level is zero. Stationary knife adjust function can be performed with one sound sending unit only.

SIG 300502 00 2 Metal detector Feedroll Noise High indicates that the metal detector control unit has detected that the noise from the feedroll is very high and the noise level exceeds the actual sensor initial threshold value.  
SIG 300502 05 2 Metal detector Metal Detector Sensor Open Coil indicates that the metal detector control unit has detected a sensor failure during the sensor diagnostic test.  
SIG 300502 14 2 Metal detector Metal Detector Sensor Disconnected indicates that the metal detector control unit has detected that the noise from the feedroll is too low while the feedrolls are moving in the forward direction.  
SIG 300503 05 2   Feedrolls Engaged Open Circuit indicates that the metal detector control unit has detected that the feedrolls engaged output is not active AND a CAN message indicates that the SPFH main control unit is driving the high side of the feedrolls engaged circuit.  
SIG 300507 11 2   Internal High Side Drive Failure / Stop Pawl Disconnected OR Open indicates that any of the high side drive indicates a problem with the output signal. Control unit error, no stop pawl function, stop pawl connection error.
