Preparations for Harvesting Corn

Install kernel processor if necessary.

To increase performance in dry conditions use cover plate underneath the feed rolls. Clean cover plate if required.

Attach row crop unit or rotary (row-independent) harvesting unit.

When using a 676 Header

Reed switch (A) is used to provide presence information whenever a 676 header is attached to the forage harvester and to control the electric brakes of 676 header.

Adjustment

Switch must be closed whenever a 676 header is attached.

To achieve correct adjustment move reed switch (A) in slotted holes until it is aligned with magnet mounted at 676 header.
