Automatic Engine Speed Adjustment
For several vehicle functions, the electronic system automatically requests appropriate engine speed without any additional operator intervention.
Furthermore the engine speed is limited whenever the road safety switch is in road position and 3rd gear is engaged. In this condition, the automatic engine speed control will adjust the engine speed to 1650 rpm in order to limit the ground speed of the forage harvester and to be compliant to road traffic regulations.
Current engine speed will also be limited whenever the speed sensor on the front axle is indicating that the speed is beyond 1000 rpm. This will also result in a limitation of the ground speed and thus will ensure safe vehicle operation.
