The main clutch essentially consists of internally and externally splined disks (A) and (B) installed alternately on hub (C). When clutch is engaged, the disks are compressed by pressure plate (D).
Internally splined disks (A) are connected to bevel gear drive output shaft (E) via hub (C) and always turn with the shaft.

Externally splined disks (B) are connected to pulley (G) via clutch housing (F).
With the clutch disengaged, pulley (G) with externally splined disks (B) and clutch housing (F) stop turning. In this case shaft in stationary pulley will rotate on bearings (H).
