Obtaining Optimum Harvesting Performance

Sharpen cutterhead knives, if necessary.

Adjust stationary knife after sharpening cutterhead knives.

    Adjust stationary knife with cutterhead rotating in forward direction BETWEEN sharpening intervals:

  • Once with half-a-day sharpening intervals
  • Twice with whole-day sharpening intervals

NOTE: Adjusting stationary knife between sharpening intervals will save power and improve quality of cut.

Check/re-adjust the setting of the spiral floor every time the header or the tires are changed.
