IMPORTANT:
If forage harvester is not in operation for extended periods, remove batteries and store in a cool, dry room where they will not freeze. Charge batteries at least every three months to avoid damage to cell plates.
Wash batteries once a week.

Remove any terminal corrosion with a brush.
Coat battery terminals and cable clamps with petroleum jelly.
Make sure that filler cap vent holes are not plugged.
