AssemblyUnfold Handles1. Remove knob (A) and bolt from each side. 2. Carefully unfold handlebar assembly. Do not crimp or damage control cables. 3. Straighten upper handle and tighten knob (B) on each side. 4. Line up lower handle hole with square hole in bracket. Install bolt and tighten knobs (A) on each side. 5. Slowly pull starter handle (C) and install into rope guide. 6. Check cables for kinks or damage. Add Engine Oil
1. Park mower on a level surface and clean area around oil dipstick. 2. Turn oil dipstick (A) 1/4 turn counterclockwise. Remove dipstick. 3. Add 0.47 L (16 oz.) oil through dipstick tube. · Install dipstick, turn it clockwise 1/4 turn and tighten it. · Check oil level: Oil should be between ADD and FULL marks on dipstick. Close to FULL mark. If not, add oil. 5. Install and tighten dipstick. 6. Remove "No Oil" tag from top of engine. Install Grass Bag2. Grasp handle (B). Install bag. 3. Lower door to hold bag in place. Test Mower Operation1. Put enough fuel in fuel tank to test mower operation. 2. Connect spark plug wire to spark plug. 3. Press primer bulb (A) three times to start engine. 4. Push throttle lever (B) to fasposition. 5. Hold blade control lever (C) against handle. 6. Start engine and check mower operation. (See Operating section). |
