Grease

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Use of incorrect greases can result in premature wear of parts and component failures.

Recommended John Deere greases are effective within an average air temperature range of -29 to 135°C (-20 to 275°F). If operating outside this temperature range, see your John Deere dealer for extreme temperature greases.


The following John Deere grease is PREFERRED:

ˇ NON-CLAY HIGH-TEMPERATURE EP GREASEŽ-JDM J13E4, NLGI Grade 2

Other greases may be used if above John Deere grease is not available, provided they meet the following compatibility specifications only:

ˇ John Deere Standard JDM J13E4, NLGI Grade 2

Lubricating Tractor Grease Fittings

NOTE: Top view of tractor shown in service lubrication diagrams.

ˇ Extremely Wet and Muddy Conditions - Lubricate tractor grease fittings every 10 hours of operation or on a daily basis
ˇ All Other Conditions - Lubricate tractor grease fittings every 50 hours of operation
