Service Intervals

Break-In (After first 5 hours of operation.)

· Change engine/transmission oil and filter.

· Check for loose hardware.

· Check wheel bolt tightness during first 100 hours.

Every 25 Hours

· Check tire pressure.

· Check and clean precleaner and air cleaner.

· Check battery electrolyte level.

· Check indicator lights.

· Clean engine/transmission fins.

· Lubricate mower wheel bearings and spindles.

· Lubricate rear wheel bearings.

· Lubricate mower spindles.

· Lubricate transmission control arm.

· Lubricate pedal pivot.

· Lubricate rear spindle support.

· Lubricate crank.

50 Hours or Annually (whichever comes first)

· Change engine/transmission oil and filter.

· Check spark plug.

100 Hours or Annually (whichever comes first)

· Replace air cleaner paper element.

· Clean battery.

200 Hours or Annually (whichever comes first)

· Replace fuel filter.

250 Hours

· Replace mower belt if worn, cracked, or glazed.

· Replace jacksheave arm bushings.

500 Hours

· Replace push arm bushings. (See your John Deere dealer for this service.)
