Service LubricationGreaseUse grease based on the expected air temperature range during the service interval. The following greases are preferred: · John Deere MOLY HIGH- TEMPERATURE EP GREASE - JDM J25C (NLGI Grade 2) · John Deere HIGH-TEMPERATURE EP GREASE - JDM J13E4 (NLGI Grade 2) Other greases may be used if the above recommended John Deere greases are not available, provided they meet one of the following: · SAE J310 Classification GC-LB Greases meeting Military Specification MIL-G-10924F may be used as arctic grease. Lubricating Rear Steering Pivot (All Wheel Steer)1. Lubricate pivot (A) with one or two shots of John Deere grease. Picture Note: Rear wheel removed for photo clarity. 2. Lubricating Front AxleAll Wheel Steer1. Lubricate axle points (A) with one or two shots of John Deere grease. 2. Lubricate axle points (B), one on each side of axle, with one or two shots of John Deere grease. Two Wheel Steer1. Lubricate axle pivot point (A) with one or two shots of John Deere grease. 2. Lubricate axle points (B), one on each side of axle, with one or two shots of John Deere grease. |
