Servicing Your Machine

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Operating in extreme conditions may require more frequent service intervals:

· Engine components may become dirty or plugged when operating in extreme heat, dust or other severe conditions.

· Engine oil and spark plugs may lose efficiency if vehicle is operated constantly at slow or low engine speeds or with frequent short trips.


Please use the following timetables to perform routine maintenance on your machine.

Break In (After First 25 Hours of Operation)

· Change engine oil and filter.

· Check/tighten loose hardware.

· Check transmission oil level.

· Check and clean air cleaner elements.

Break In (After First 50 Hours of Operation)

· Change engine oil and filter.

25 Hours

· Check mower blades.

50 Hours

· Check/adjust tire pressure.

· Clean/service air cleaner elements, (service more frequently under dusty conditions).

· Clean area around steering switches.

· Lubricate mower spindles.

100 Hours or Annually (whichever comes first)

· Check/clean battery.

· Change engine oil and filter.

· Inspect and regap spark plugs.

· Clean cooling fins.

· Check mower drive belt.

· On Freedom42 Mower Deck: Inspect blade timing and adjust timing belt tension.

100 Hours or Every Two Years (whichever comes first)

· Replace steering filters.

200 Hours or Every Two Years (whichever comes first)

· Replace fuel filter.

Annually

· Check/tighten loose hardware.

· Sharpen mower blades.

· Inspect belts/replace.
