Service IntervalsServicing Your MachinePlease use the following timetables to perform routine maintenance on your machine. Initial Break In (After 1st 5 Hours)· Change engine oil and filter. · Check and tighten drive wheel hardware. · Check and adjust park brake. Every 25 Hours· Lubricate front caster wheels. · Lubricate mower deck lift support blocks. · Lubricate mower deck spindles. · Lubricate mower deck idler pivot. · Lubricate mower deck push arms. · Lubricate height-of-cut detent. · Lubricate park brake linkage pivots. · Check pump drive belt for damage or cracking. · Check air pressure in tires. · Check and adjust park brake. Every 50 Hours· Check air cleaner elements. Clean if necessary. · Clean engine shrouds if dirty. · Check and tighten drive wheel hardware. If operating machine in extremely dusty/dirty conditions: · Clean behind engine shrouds and exposed fins. · Remove screws on blower fan screen, clean behind it. Every 100 Hours· Change engine oil and filter. · Clean behind engine shrouds and exposed fins. · Remove screws on blower fan screen, clean behind it. Every 200 Hours· Change engine oil and filter. Every 300 Hours· Adjust valve clearance. See your John Deere dealer. · Clean and lap valve seat surface. See your John Deere dealer. · Clean combustion chamber. See your John Deere dealer. Every 500 Hours· Change hydraulic oil and filter. Every 1000 HoursYearly· Change engine oil and filter at least once per season. · Change hydraulic oil and filter at least once per season. |
