RemovingPark Vehicle Safelyˇ Stop vehicle on a level surface, not on a slope. ˇ Before you leave the operator's seat, wait for engine and all moving parts to STOP. Removing Snowthrower1. Remove weight transfer cable: ˇ Raise snowthrower with lift handle. ˇ Remove drilled pin and spring locking pin (A). ˇ Remove cable (B) from lift bracket. ˇ Grasp handle (C) and pull forward to release belt tension. NOTE: Use spring locking pin and drilled pin removed above. ˇ Insert drilled pin and spring locking pin (D). 2. Remove weight transfer spring: NOTE: Pull up on spring bracket while removing pin. ˇ Remove one drilled pin and spring locking pin (E). ˇ Remove spring (F) from bracket (G). ˇ Remove other end of spring from S-hook. ˇ Lower snowthrower to ground. ˇ Roll belt from top of drive sheave (H). ˇ Remove belt from drive sheave (I) and belt guard plate (J), if your model Front Mower has this plate. If your model Front Mower does not have this plate, go to Step 4. ˇ Remove two drilled pins and spring locking pins (K). ˇ Remove two drilled pins and spring locking pins (L). ˇ Tie push arms up to Front Mower before pulling snowthrower from Front Mower. ˇ Pull snowthrower forward from Front Mower.
5. Remove any weights that were installed when preparing the Front Mower. (See Preparing the Vehicle section.) |
