Using Troubleshooting Chart

When you have checked all the possible causes listed and you are still experiencing the problem, see your Authorized Service Center.

Check

Rotor Will Not Turn

ˇ Worn or broken engine drive belt.

ˇ Worn or broken auger drive belt.

ˇ Broken shear bolt.

Snowthrower Operation Is Erratic

ˇ Damaged scraper blade.

ˇ Worn or broken belts.

ˇ Adjust belt tension.

Snowthrower Removes Snow Unevenly

ˇ Level snowthrower.

Rear Traction Is Poor

ˇ Install weights.

ˇ Install chains on rear tires.

Lift Lever Will Not Lock In Raised Position

ˇ Adjust yokes on snowthrower frame.
