Servicing Your Machine

Please use the following timetables to perform routine maintenance on your machine. Service procedures included in this manual but not on this chart are to be performed on an as needed basis.

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! If you operate mower in extreme heat, dust or other severe conditions, service more often than shown below.


After the first 5 hours of operation (break-in period):

ˇ Check/tighten all hardware

ˇ Check wheel bolt torque (also check again at 50 hours for break-in, then every 200 hours)

ˇ Change engine oil (also change oil again at 50 hours for break-in, then every 100 hours, or every season.

ˇ Lubricate front steering spindles, wheel bearings and axle pivot

After Each Use

ˇ Clean debris from engine, especially air intake screen.

ˇ Remove belt shields, clean belt area, check belts. Be sure shields are secure.

ˇ Clean under deck. Inspect blades.

ˇ Check for loose, missing, or damaged parts.
