Replacing Headlight Bulb and Housing
Remove Headlight Bulb
ˇ Loosen and remove four screws (B).
ˇ Carefully lift hood up and off vehicle.
2. Locate headlight assembly (C).
3. Remove defective headlight bulb.
ˇ Rotate bulb socket (D) counterclockwise approximately 1/3 turn and remove from the headlight housing (E).
ˇ Push down top of bulb (F) and rotate counterclockwise to remove from socket.
Install Headlight Bulb
IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! This is not a standard replacement bulb. If bulb replacement is required, use only a 48 volt bulb. Using a 12 volt replacement bulb could cause a blown vehicle fuse. |
1. Install new headlight bulb (F) into bulb socket (D).
ˇ Push down top of bulb and rotate clockwise into a locked position.
2. Install bulb socket (D) into headlight housing (E).
ˇ Rotate bulb socket clockwise into a locked position.
3. Install hood (A) onto vehicle.
ˇ Install and tighten top two screws (B).
ˇ Push hood upward. Allow equal clearance around each headlight housing.
ˇ Install and tighten two bottom screws (B).
Replace Headlight Housing
2. Rotate bulb socket (D) counterclockwise approximately 1/3 turn and remove from headlight housing (E).
3. Remove screws (G) securing headlight housing to the utility vehicle frame.
4. Install replacement headlight housing (E).
ˇ Attach housing to utility vehicle frame with screws (G).
5. Install bulb socket (D) into headlight housing.
