ControlsFunction of Remote Controls (Optional Electro-Hydraulic (EH)Lower cutting units when not in use or latch in up or transport position. The remote controls raise and lower reel assemblies from a convenient position on the tractor. With the PTO running, the left hand lever (A) raises and lowers all of the cutting units. Lever (B) raises and lowers the two front (4 & 5) cutting units or #4 with 5-gang option. The right hand lever (C) raises and lowers the middle (1-2-3) cutting units. The far right hand lever (D) raises the optional 6 and 7 cutting units or #5 with 5 gang option. NOTE: For individual section control, basic joystick must be in down or "detent" position. If controls fail to raise and lower cutting units, check the following: 3. Transport locks to see if they are engaged. 4. Relief valve in electro-hydraulic lift lower valve to see that it is functioning properly. 5. Optional 7 gang: Units 6 & 7 don't lower-mercury switch on arms doesn't function or over center solenoid valve not activating. Troubleshooting ControlsIf cutting unit assemblies fail to raise or lower: 1. Transport latches are engaged. 2. Check hydraulic lines at connectors on rear of traction unit. Look for leaks, cuts, gouges, kinks, and signs of wear. 3. Check traction unit hydraulic oil level. Fill as necessary. 5. Check for power to solenoid valves in E-H valve or over center valve. |
